New Zealand wetsalted calfskins

The calf season in New Zealand is very short and production
is going from from July to October. The calf skins are available
either as "freezer" from industrial slaughterhouses or as "casualty"
, (equarissage) from animals that died on the field
The drumsalted skins are drained for 48 hours and then weighed.
